Get involved by becoming a...

HELP Mentor

An encourager for at risk youth. 2 hours per week for 7 weeks. Pre-requisites:  At least 21 years old. 3 hour training class provided by HorsePower.

HELP HorseHandler

Prepare horses before each session and stay through class to assist instructors and students with horses. 3-4 hours per week for 7 weeks.
Pre-requisites: Two hour introductory training class plus 3 training sessions provided by HorsePower prior to each season. 

Equine Trainer

Regular training with the HorsePower horses to keep them "primed" for their HorsePower role. 2-3 hours per week. Pre-requisites:  Equine experience preferred.

Facility Maintainer

Help with the upkeep of our classroom, grounds, and fencing. Can include mowing, weed eating, hauling feed bags, etc.

Want to give something other than time?

Provide Student Scholarships

Help cover program expenses for students.
$35 per student per class.

Adopt-a-Horse

Help cover the care of a HorsePower horse.
Silver Shoe ($50/mo), Gold Shoe ($80/mo), Platinum Shoe ($115/mo).
