A special note from a HorsePower student...

One of HorsePower's mentors recently received a letter from a student. The mentor, Ms. Nancy, wanted to share the letter because it highlights the fact that HorsePower made a real difference. It also was exciting to see that the student quoted one of the six scriptures that we present during the session. Please enjoy the letter below.

Dear Mrs. Nancy and everyone at HorsePower,

I thank you for the fun time that you guys have showed me.  You guys have showed me that it is not hard to try new things and to put your fears behin you and move on to more positive things in your life.  Since I have been coming to HorsePower the main week I learned was the week about Trust: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  You guys have taught me to trust people in my life and give more people positive realationships than negative.  Everyone has helped me greatly.

Thanks,

Billy (the name has been changed for confidentiality)

Call for HorsePower Scholarships raises enough funds for almost two classes!

The response was overwhelming! Thanks to the generous donations of individuals and the fundraising efforts of Courtney Breitkreutz at her place of work - almost 8 students will be able to participate in HorsePower in the upcoming Winter and Spring sessions that wouldn't have otherwise.

Have you considered nominating HorsePower for your office charity of choice - or does your office offer a matching program for donations? If you need brochures or more information to share with your co-workers, just let us know! Click here and send an email! When one of HorsePower's clients were unable to find funding for their winter session, HorsePower put out a call to volunteers.
