Charmer About me: Most people think I look like a native american horse. I have what you call an 'overo' coat pattern. Overos have color over their backbone like bay, black, or sorrel, really any color but white. I have three different colors on my body - white, bay and black. I was born in Arkansas, but moved to Lone Jack when just a baby. My owners thought I had a four leaf clover spot on my lower lip, so they called me Charmer. They said I would bring them good luck. I am a mother of many foals so am naturally nurturing, a great fit for HorsePower students. |

Katie About me: I used to belong to a wonderful family who had quite a few other horses. When they heard about HorsePower and O.R.E.O. they thought it was a great opportunity for me. I am very curious and love to give my attention to the kids of HorsePower.

Starbeth About me: Before being a part of Open Range Equine Outreach, I belonged to a special lady who called me Star. When I got here, the ladies from Open Range thought it would be cute to call me Starbeth, short for ”Star of Bethlehem”. Since my coat is black and I have a huge white star on my forehead I am like the night sky and the bright shining star that was present when Jesus was born. |
